The College of Technology and Engineering, Udaipur (CTAE) is a constituent college of the Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology, Udaipur. The college was started in 1964 with a Graduate Programme in Agricultural Engineering. Presently the CTAE has undergraduate degree programs in 8 branches, M.Tech. programs in 12 disciplines, besides an MBA program in Engineering and Ph.D. programs in 9 disciplines. It is situated at about 7 km from Udaipur city railway station and bus terminal and 2 km from Rana Pratap Nagar railway station. College of Technology and Engineering is entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Secure Meters Ltd. CTAE funded by HRD Ministry for a project “Technical Education Quality Improvement Project” to develop smart-class and undertaking activities to increase the quality of teaching.

College of Technology and Engineering (CTAE), Udaipur was established in 1964 by offering an undergraduate course in Agricultural Engineering. It had its beginning in the Rajasthan College of Agriculture and shifted to its present premises on the new campus of the university in 1968. Academic and physical facilities of Udaipur Polytechnic were also transferred by the state government to the college in 1975-76. The college also offers postgraduate programs in Soil and Water Conservation Engineering, Irrigation Water Management Engineering, Farm Machinery, and Power Engineering, Processing and Food Engineering and Renewable Energy Sources Engineering.
